Motorcycle Trackday? Motorcycle Trackday
Welcome to the track experience. This event is designed as a learning event - learn the finer aspects of maneuvering your motorcycle, at speed. We are not competing or racing - we are riding. It is self involvement - with classroom time and a full curriculum.
Two Groups
We have two groups for these events - either you are pre-approved for Group 2, or you are in Group 1. That doesn't mean you are slow or fast. It means I know and can trust your abilities, or I don't. At any time, if you are unsure as to which group to sign up for - sign up for Group 1. Unless you have that pre-approval, you run the risk of your registration being canceled.
No Flags or Corner Workers?? Lights
At H2R we do not have corner worker stations. We are not allowed to have people working near the track surface without protection. Therefore, we have a wireless light system and look-outs in the tower.
What do the lights mean?
- GREEN - The track is active and a live surface.
- FLASHING GREEN - End of session. Leave the course at the pit-exit.
- FLASHING YELLOW - There is a hazard coming up, slow your pace and watch for it. After passing the hazard you may resume riding, but make note where that hazard is and watch for the light to return to solid green.
- FLASHING RED - There is an emergency situation, SLOW your pace and expect to exit the track when you reach pit lane. Watch for objects on the track, and proceed to the pit lane.
Only Two Groups? That's right, only TWO groups. That means alternating 30 minute sessions throughout the day. Membership to specific groups is up to the sole discretion of Elite Trackdays personnel. Non compliance with those decisions is subject to ejections of an event and all that comes with that.
We ask that anyone without pre-approval register in Group 1. If they feel they need to graduate to the next level, they can work with an instructor after the Round Robin (session 1). A few points - if you have not been graduated yet, or have never been to Harris Hill Road, please use the Round Robin to learn the track and view the lines. Through the day you will NOT be lacking for time on the track...
Trackdays cost $200 per person.
Group 1 - Novice AND Intermediate
This is the level the majority of riders will belong. It does not mean you are *slow*. It means your track experience hasn't been witnessed and/or validated by our staff.
- NO passing in this group until the staff has cleared the sessions to do so.
- On average, there is a 2-to-1 student-to-instructor ratio - classroom AND tracktime with those instructors.
- Expect 15 minute classroom - 30 minute tracktime - 15 minute rest through the day.
Group 2 - Advanced AND Race
- Pre-approved ONLY. This means you have been graduated by Staff at an event.
- If you question whether you are able to register in this group, you would be better off registering for Group 1.
It is our policy to have people evaluated in Group One in order for them
to graduate into Group Two. Understand there are only two groups
available to the public. That means, this group at my events is not
intermediate. But, rather, more advanced and race-pace. Each person
riding in this group has earned the right to be there, all we ask is
that the others that join them have done the same.
We understand the license process and know that every race license does not mean valid ability to this Group. Please understand if your ability comes into question by Staff, you will be asked to move to Group 1.

What do our Customer's have to say?"You folks at Elite have set the bar very high for my next two trackdays. The personal attention and lessons/suggestions from my instructor - and a handful of other instructors/staff - really made the event a special learning experience for me. Your company has converted me to track riding for life! I can't give higher praise than that! Thanks for helping me learn and improve as a motorcyclist. I look forward to joining you all again if I am ever back in the area (or even passing through)." - Ted Z.
"I wanted to take a moment to let you know how much I enjoyed your track day yesterday. You definitely run an excellent event, and Harris Hill is a wonderful facility. Your staff was very helpful and had a great attitude. The sandwiches were a nice touch! I will absolutely be a regular at your Elite Track days, so I'll see you at the next one!" - Marc
"Sure, we could of had better conditions, but as far as the organization, and the people behind it all, it was absolutely another well run track day! I do appreciate all you, and your support team, put into running such a fine organization. As far as I'm concerned "Elite" lives up to the name. Thank you! My only regret was that I didn't get to tell you in person, how much I enjoyed it..." - Bill
"Just a note to thank you and your staff for the great day
we had yesterday at the kids'
track day school.
The combination of Craig's experience and Brandon's ability to connect
to teens was perfect.
Each time Calvin came in from a track session, I could
see that his skills and confidence had improved, and the atmosphere surrounding
the event made everyone (especially the parents) very comfortable.
Thanks again, sign us up for the next one." ~Doug and Calvin Ross
